Kent's Cavern

Kents Cavern is one of the most important Stone Age cave sites in Europe, making it Britain's premier prehistoric cave.

For thousands of years the cave was home to ancient humans, sheltering from extreme weather, making fires, shaping stone tools and hunting wild Ice Age predators.  You will be taken back to these ancient times as you walk through the extensive labyrinth of caverns surrounded by spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations.

The caves are open every day for guided tours, led by entertaining guides, concluding in an underground exhibition chamber.

Outside there is plenty to entertain the family with a Stone Age woodland trail, indoor kids-archaeological dig area and hands-on cave art areas.  The attraction has a superb gift shop, excellence restaurant and relaxing gardens.

These beautiful caves have many awards for quality tourism, they are a protected national monument and a major visitor centre for the UNESCO endorsed English Riviera Global Geopark.

Quaywest

We're a great family, fun attraction whether you want the full on rush of our exciting drop slides and flume rides, the carefree fun of tube rides or just a splash in the pool and laze in the sun, we’ve got something for everyone. The waterpark is now being run by one of the UK’s most experienced waterpark operators – Lemur Group – owners of Splashdown in Poole, one of the UK’s favourite waterparks. We worked really hard last year to get open in time for the season and boy was it hard work. We’ve been hard at it again this winter getting everything back to its best. We are determined to make this park succeed as one of the most popular family attractions in the South West. As well as all the fun rides we have delicious ice-cream, tasty burgers, pasties and pies, drinks and treats from our Boarders café and at Sunrise Beach and Snack Store, just next door, has everything you could possibly need for a fun day out at gorgeous Goodrington Sands which we overlook and there is more great food and Marshfield westcountry ice-cream and Seattle Best coffee at the Octopus @ the Octagon, our beachfront kiosk, if you want to get something after a long hard day on the beach!
